"Thankful"

I have so much to be thankful for, I always try to focus on that whenever
I am feeling a bit dumpy. Then I realized today I had not made any Thanksgiving cards, I have been steaming right on to X-Mas mostly because I get so busy at work I have to get a lot of stuff done before. Don't I always say, I need to work on my Holiday cards in the summer, but then I get so many new ideas, new stamps...oh you know how it is!
Alas, todays card is not created using an new stamp the main "pumpkin" image is one of the first stamps I ever owned from Hero Arts. I always seem to go back to this stamp, probably because there is a lot to color, and I love to color. The DP in the background is some random sheets that I picked up while shopping, I can't even remember where. I embossed in black the lovely swirly with Baroque Motifs (SU) and "Thankful" is a dissected stamp from MFT. I used my CB to make the little oval around the greeting.
This card was fun to make, lots of inking & coloring.
I scanned this card in instead of photographing it because my camera is broken, I have been borrowing my sisters until I can replace my own, but she must have needed it back.
I think Santa (DH) is working on it!! {{crossing fingers}}
One of the things I am Thankful for is,
for you reading my blog,
thanks for stopping by!
